Aric Toler
Aric Toler is the training and research director at Bellingcat, an online publication that uses open source, digital research techniques to investigate topics around the world. He focuses on investigations into Russia and Ukraine, including research into Russian intelligence operations, the ongoing war in Ukraine, and the 2014 downing of Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 over the Donbas. Aric has been with Bellingcat since 2014, and has previously studied in Russia and received a Master's in Slavic Languages & Literatures from the University of Kansas in 2013.
