Alex Bardas
Alex Bardas is an assistant professor in the EECS Department at KU. His research interests are focused on cybersecurity, mainly from a system perspective. He believes that viable cybersecurity solutions must leverage collective knowledge, be reliable, and consider practical aspects in an environment surrounded by uncertainty. His research efforts are supported by federal agencies such as the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Security Agency (NSA). Recently, he received NSF’s CAREER Award while his research results have been recognized in premier research security and privacy venues such as IEEE S&P and ACM CCS.
